Setups can be very challenging, even if you know what some settings do, which settings should you change?

First you need to identify if you are suffering from Understeer or Oversteer

When the car does not turn as much as you want it to, it's called Understeer. See Projected Yellow Path above.

This is most often because the front hasn't got enough grip to perform what you are asking the car to do.

When the car turns more than you want it to, it's called Oversteer. See Projected Blue Path above.

This is often because the rear does not have enough grip to perform what you are asking the car to do.

If you can identify Understeer and Oversteer then you're able to get any car dialled in Gran Turismo 7.

Using my Setup Cheat Sheets downloadable below you can very quickly see which setting you should be changing to either Reduce Understeer or Reduce Oversteer to perfect the way you favourite car drives
